The Man Comes Around

我們寫傳奇寫故事，只寫到最燦爛的那一刻為止。因為生命一旦到了個頂點，剩下的都是下坡路了。對於教授和老狼而言，他們最輝煌的時代已經逝去。他們殘存在一個不屬於他們，甚至一個與他們敵對的時代，這本身就是一個悲劇。我看到教授持續服藥的樣子，甚至比我看到老狼用身體去為謀生的車子檔子彈更為悲憤。

他們本可以沉寂，從此被遺忘。

但是英雄之所以成為英雄並不是因為他們的能力，更多是因為他們在極端情況下不屈的選擇，那是他們人格中不變的部份。也正因如此英雄很少能夠活到暮年。然而死有輕如鴻毛，重如泰山。而Logan的死亡帶來了新生。

甚至從更殘酷的角度來講，也許老狼的一輩子就是為了這些年輕的變種人。

他的一輩子也許就是為了影響啟發這些年輕的變種人——教授所影響的那一代已經老去，而新的這一代不知道他們的傳奇，他們只知道為保護他們而死的金剛狼。因此他不需要活到老年和孩子說我年輕時曾經怎麼樣，有無數人會講述他的故事。

我在電影院劇終時，一片黑暗裡，聽見了Johnny Cash的聲音。Johnny的聲音永遠是傷痛中帶著慈悲，通過自身的經歷讓聽眾得到救贖。他讓我想起了溫柔的Charles，以及最後決定以命換命的老狼（我堅信他衝出去的時候就知道了自己的結局）。而最終，他保護了希望，也算是心願得償，死得其所。

然而他最終安息並不代表他所經歷的，那些孩子們經歷的就是正確的。我堅信最後的結尾曲揭示了一場即將來臨的末日審判。
