sweet sweet movie!
Elizabeth has always put her work in the hospital over everything else. She's smart, determined, has a bright career ahead of her, but incredibly lonely. Before she has a chance to realize what she really wants in her life, she was involved in a car accident and fell into a coma. David, a heart-broken widower, is the only one who can see her spirit while she floats around the world, not knowing what has happened to her.
There is absolutely no logic in the story. Why would David be the only one who can see her? Just because he lives in her apartment? Why would David's selfish friend agree to do something as illegal as stealing a body with him? Everything just didn't make sense. However, although the story was so wrong, the dialogs were so sweet, the supporting cast was so funny, and the attraction between the two main characters was so strong that you just learn to accept the story. In the end, David and Lizzy really moved me, and made me yearn for them to be together, and that's what really matters in a romantic comedy.
Don't forget that Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and if you're feeling that you need that extra little nudge to get you in the mood for all the festivities ahead, then "Just like Heaven" is the perfect movie for you. Now I just need to watch "Elizabethtown", then I'm all set. :)
