A wristwatch saves his life

基於一直不喜Will Ferrel的前提，還是很大大地被驚喜了一下。

一段被設計的人生，加上峰迴路轉的改變。

頗有Truman's Life + Butterfly Effect的味道。

Harold將他的wristwatch調慢了3分鐘，恰巧扶起滑倒的騎車男孩，而後被撞。於是男孩沒有經過那座橋，於是erase了另一起交通事故。

然而，like Harold breaking his own rule of life, Karen did this as well.

It is the wristwatch sent Harold to the death, it is the wristwatch saved his life. Unbelievable coincidence.


And then, it became a commedy instead of tragedy.

相較之下，那被一筆帶過的romantic story僅僅只是個tool of the story.



Sometimes when we lose ourselves in fear and despair in ruoutine and constancy, and hopelessness and tradgedy, we can thank god for Bavarian sugar cookies. And fortunately when there aren't any cookies, we can still find reassurance in a family hand on our skin, or a kind and loving gesture, or a subtle encouragement, or a loving embrance, or an offer of comfort.
