You Can Scoot，Or Put Down Roots

在導演Michel Gondry的故事裡，總充滿著令人傷感卻溫馨的鄉愁，這裡的鄉卻並非故鄉，而或許是每個人心底曾經的逝去的夢鄉。

《Be Kind Rewind》的片尾曲叫《Fletcher先生之歌》，內容彷彿村頭老人送別出走子女的寄語，學著小明那樣隨便意譯一下好了：外面的世界大得很，打包好夢想趕緊去探險吧，別想太多，計劃遠沒變化快。你可以浪跡天涯，或者落地生根，穿上我的老靴子，我就在你的身邊。你會面對花花世界，新人新面孔，但別忘了這曲老調子；咱們鄉下沒啥了不起，不是你待的地方，不過好歹也是個地方，甭操心了。要記得，回家後跟我們好好說說外邊的故事，看看你說的有沒有我唱得好聽……你可以浪跡天涯，或者落地生根，穿上我的老靴子，我就在你的身邊。

不知為何，總能在這歌中聽出一種希望，也是自己現在最缺乏最需要的東西。

有人說結局太好萊塢了，我倒覺得還是很應該那麼「好萊塢」的。哪怕夢想到最後並不能確實的改變什麼，甚至終歸破滅，但至少很應該換回一些父老鄉親的掌聲吧？就當成一個被稍微童話了的現實好了，或者一個挺現實無奈的童話，和《科學睡眠》《永恆陽光》在這層感覺上還是很一致的，就像回到了當年那個只屬於玩具小兵的世界；無論這種玩具小兵對導演說來是鐵甲威龍尖鋒時刻、紙皮城市皮影大馬，還是那個圍困著情感的記憶消除器。
