Long long ago
Juno is a famous film for me as many web sites recommended it and gave it high evaluation. When I watched, I got to know why it can be nominated in Oscar Academy Award. Actually, it is a splendid film which about youth, love and responsibility.
The movie tells a story happened on a high school student named Juno whose name was as same as the Queen of Heaven in Greece Myths. She was a really cool but cute guy and she loved Rock and Roll music. She had sex with a boy in her class whose beautiful golden hair gave me deep impression. Unfortunately, she got pregnancy and it was illegal in America to abort her baby. So she decided to go to an underground clinique to do the abortion. However, on her way there she met a girl who tried to persuade people to keep their babies for 「All babied wants to be born」. And the girl told Juno that maybe her baby had fingernails which was freaked her. At last, she made her decision that was to born the baby and find a family to adopt it. It was lucky that her parents understood her and the adoption family was good. But when everything was ready, the adoptive father regretted and divorced with her wife. Juno cried sadly which was the only time we saw her tears. She felt feared and wondered if two people in love can be together for ever. When she got back home and her father told her that 「The best thing you can do is to find somebody who loves you for exactly what you are, good mood, bad mood; beautiful, ugly」, Juno knew exactly that the person she really loved is the boy, the baby’s father. And at the end of the movie, Juno went back to her boy friend. The baby was born and adopt by the divorced woman.
The story showed not only the experience of unmarried mother, but also the attitude to hard life. Life is complex and everybody has to face the difficulty. In fact, what Juno’s father said moved me and I think sometimes the person we need is not the cutest guy but one who can really tolerate our shortcomings, take care of us no matter what we look like, and always give us happiness and hope for future. The attitudes of Juno’s family were totally different from Chinese family. I can not imagine the situation in China that an underage girl got pregnancy and her family supported her, helped her, and forgave her. She must be blamed and felt shamed even lost the courage to live. But I don』t think it was a mistake. So I think our country should give the girls like Juno a chance to restart their lives. And every one has the right to pursue a better future. The music in the movie was so wonderful that made me feel comfortable.
