When I received your book, the emotions inside my brain felt like they were in a tumble dryer, smashing into eachother. The hurt felt like when I accidently stapled my lips together. The reason I forgive you is because you're not perfect. You are imperfect, and so am I. All human are imperfect, even the man outside my apratment who litters.
當我收到你的書，我的感受就像是轉筒式乾燥機，糾纏在了一起。我之所以原諒你，是因為你並不完美。你不完美，我也一樣。人無完人，包括門口那個亂扔垃圾的人。


When I was young, I wanted to be anyone but myself. Dr.Bernard Hazelhot said if I was on a desert island, then I would have to get used to my own company, just me and the coconuts. He said I would have to accept myself, my warts and all.And then we don't get to choose our warts. They are part of us and we have to live with them. We can, however, choose our friends. Dr. Bernard Hazelhot also said that, everyone's lives are like a very long sidewalk. Some are well paved. Others, like mine, have cracks, banana skins and cigatette butts. Your sidewalk is like mine, but probably not as many cracks. Hopefully, one day, our sidewalks will meet and we can share a can of condensed milk.
Dr.Bernard Hazelhot 還說過，人的生活就像是一條很長的人行道，有的鋪的很好。有的，比如我的，就有裂縫，香蕉皮，還有煙屁。你的人行道和我的很像，但沒有那麼多裂縫。希望有一天，我們的人行道交匯了，可以一起喝一罐濃縮酸奶。

前面的獨白實在有些多，看的我很難進入狀態。本以為瑪莉結婚了，事業有成了，電影就馬上會結束了吧。於是我沒有找到為什麼大家都很愛它的理由。但是從瑪莉因為Max生氣而變得消沉起，我就非常期待接下去會發生什麼了。

儘管很多時候愛是那麼的脆弱和悲哀，它仍是世間最美好的東西。
