之前我跟文章後面的一個評論一樣，一直以為就是前路已定，只需靜待的意思，言下有些聽天由命，憑運氣的味道。

但是本文作者史蒂夫n Jacobs認為，這句話其實指的是Papa Wallenda走鋼絲時繃緊身體，賭上性命般的興奮。我又找出片子看了下，在這句話之前，旁白一直在渲染No-Limit 德州 hold 'em的刺激：

這樣順下來的話，"excitement「才是這句引言要表達的，而不是話鋒突然一轉，變成了消極等待的意思。而且這段旁白的配樂The Catch, 危險的氣氛中有種蠢蠢欲動的興奮感，和這個意思很搭。
