Sometimes, we just need a friend.

瑪莉 and Max is really a wonderful movie, despite it's just a cartoon, so black, not fit for kids, just for adults——somebody like me who think cartoon is not childish.
I think it's limited to consider cartoon as kids' privilege.

Let me move on the film. I am really affected until now. The last scene, 瑪莉 came to 紐約 with her baby, and finally visited her best and only friend Max. Max sitted in his couch quietly, looked like he was looking up to the ceiling, so serene. But he was dead. He can't see 瑪莉 any more, and have just spend his life without a visible friend. Yes. A visible friend is his biggest dream in his life. What a lonely life! I cried.

Sometimes we are confused with our real life,
sometimes we have some questions about the world and need someone to answer them,
sometimes we get some feelings and want to share with others, then make it better,
sometimes we need to study and find new things from others,
sometimes we really need a feel of be needed, cared and loved,
the best way is a friend.

In our real world, you and me may be both the kind of Max and 瑪莉, we are imperfect, or even we are disable in some part of life. We can't understand and communicate with others in a right way. Rubbishes like banana skin, fishbone and apple core bestrew our road. It's much more difficult to cross them and reach another side. But we should imagine that one day our friends and us will meet each others at the other side. We accomplished it, and we are not alone.

At the end, Ethel Mumford's words, "God gave us relatives.Thanks god we can choose our friends."
Yes, it's big happiness in our lives. Just remember it forever, then cherish our friendship, make others be needed, cared and loved.
