　　我年輕時想變成除了自己以外的任何一個人，伯納德哈斯豪夫醫生說，如果我在一個孤島上，那麼我就要適應一個人生活，只有椰子和我。

　　他說我必需要接受我自己，我的缺點和我的全部。

　　伯納德哈斯豪夫醫生還說，每個人的人生就是一條很長的人行道，有的很平坦，而有的像我一樣，有裂縫香蕉皮和菸頭，你的人行道和我的差不多，但是沒有我的這麼多裂縫。

　　有朝一日，希望你我的人行道會相交在一起，到時候我們可以分享一罐煉乳。

有時候，

在這個充斥傾斜和裂縫的荒誕世界，

我們每個人都在渴求最本真的友情，

我們渴望通過最質樸的交流相互溫暖彼此冰冷的靈魂，

我們都是害怕孤獨的人，

可惜，

孤獨就像我們的影子，與生俱來，無處不在

瑪麗——一個扭曲家庭的受氣包，

馬克思——一個別人眼中古怪的自閉症患者，

他倆都孤獨的活著，都對一個異化的世界困惑著，

在漫長的歲月裡他倆的人行道相交在了一起，

他們是幸運的，有多少人能在一生中尋找到相似靈魂的另一半呢？

如果沒有瑪麗，馬克斯繼續偏執、憤怒、驚恐、氣喘吁吁的走在充滿裂縫和垃圾的人行道上，

如果沒有馬克思，瑪麗在深深負疚感的痛苦煎熬中自我了斷了，

瑪麗還是見到了馬克思，她牽著安詳睡去的馬克斯的手，幸福的注視著那一牆的信，

他們互相拯救了對方，他們的人行道依舊裂縫遍佈，但至少不再孤單荒涼。

每個人的人生都有裂縫，有的在表面，有的在深處，

不是每個人都能找到瑪麗或馬克思，

我們必須正視裂縫，學會自我拯救，接受自己的缺點，接受世界的不完美，

學會包容、學會原諒、學會感受、學會理解，

你也許會發現這個世界還是很可愛的。
