一開始並不愛。因為音樂單調佈景簡單人物醜陋。尤其在看完阿凡達之後很難靜下心來看這麼簡陋的片子。就算曉得是動畫片也已經把benchmark放在Up的水準上，以致於一開始差點要半途而廢。

但終於還是看完，不是耐著性子，而是流著眼淚。從阿甘到Max，這些呆呆傻傻的螢幕形像一直傳達的資訊卻是他們雖然智力或者神經有缺陷，但某種程度上他們比所謂正常人更為完善。小孩子會不心存芥蒂的和任何人一起玩，但是長大之後，受了太多世俗的影響，就會開始以世俗的眼光審視週遭，試圖用衣著外貌等等諸多外在條件打量別人，一旦別人不pass某些標準，便自覺擺出高人一等的姿態。瑪莉長大以後，為了Max去學習神經疾病，她以為Max會高興她幫他治療疾病，但卻忽略了這個努力學習live with his disability的Max也一直有用自己的方式幫到她。

some take away，都是從Max的信里摘錄的。這個有自閉症的男人一直在努力接受自己，學習愛自己，然後推己及人的去愛他的朋友。他慷慨的把彩票中來的錢分給鄰居老太，也終於有一天把最愛吃的自製巧克力三明治分給樓下街上的乞討者。要是小王子再度降臨到地球的話，也會同意把他歸為小孩，並且樂意和他成為朋友的吧。

我真高興我還是用心靈去看我的朋友們，而不是用眼睛。

Your sidewalk is like mine but probably not as many cracks.
Hopefully, one day our sidewalks will meet and we can share a can of condensed milk.
