Good Luck, Eminem

I watched it because of Eminem, just trying to get to know him. I knew the main plot before I watched it, but I just can't help feeling shocked and moved. I don't know much about him, nor do I know how much of the film is real in his life. I usually don't like this type of film, full of violence, sex and dirty words. However, it is really a good film, because of two important elements.

One is how a person fights in life. Rabbit is really not a lucky kid. He was born poor, perhaps not well-educated, doesn't have a promising job, has a problematic mom, fails in his romantic relationship... That does happen in life, as life is often difficult and unfair. But he holds on and never gives up because of his love and passion for music. That's how we should fight in life. Stick to the thing we love, never lose the passion and solve the problems one by one, believing that some day, sooner or later, we'll be through all the hardships.

The other is how a person treats the beloved ones. I almost burst into tears everytime I saw Rabbit with Lily. He was such a loving brother; no matter what happens to him, no matter how hard life is, no matter how angry he is, he always tries to show the best of him in front of Lily. He tries everything he could to protect Lily, to build a loving home for her. That's what moves me most and reminds me how we should treat our beloved ones. Protect them and make them happy, no matter what.

I really don't know much about Eminem. But since this film reflects his life somehow, I think he probably is just like Rabbit. Anyway, I wish him good luck, and have more and more wonderful music~!
