同學因為喜歡westlife而喜歡angel這首歌,因為喜歡這首歌而喜歡這個電影,然後推薦給我
我想 我看了City of Angels後對fall這個單詞有了更深刻的認識
在片中Seth懷著對Maggie的強烈的愛戀而choose to fall to Earth .
這是怎樣的一種選擇,Seth放棄了無痛,放棄了永生,放棄了天使的聖潔,放棄了身為天使所擁有的一切,而為了體驗Maggie所描述的食物的味道,為了感受在海浪中激流中與自然搏鬥的暢快的感覺,為了Maggie在手術室裡那深深的凝視,為了這個心愛的女子敏感細膩而又善良的心靈,為了去真實的去愛一個人,為了讓她感受他真實存在的愛,為了去感受到自己心愛的人所有的感受而選擇了Fall to earth,選擇了做一個人類.
在影片最後的那段對話,一位天使問;
If you'd known this was going to happen...
 
...would you have done it?
Seth:
 
I would rather have had...
 
...one breath of her hair...
 
...one kiss of her mouth...
 
...one touch of her hand...
 
...than an eternity without it.

這就是fall的含義吧,
fall in love,
fall for someone you love without doubt,
fall for someone you love from bottom of your heart, from inside of your soul
fall for someone you can give up the whole world
just because I love you.

在seth找到Maggie後有這樣一段對話:
We fit together.
 
I know.
 
We were made to fit together.
 
I always asked the dying what they liked best about living.
 
Wrote it down in my book.
 
This is it.
 
This is what I like best.
 
You haven't even started yet.
 
We have our whole lives together.

在Maggie生命最後的時刻她說:
This is what happens.
 
I'm not afraid.
 
When they ask me...
 
...what I liked the best...
 
...I'll tell them...

她是幸福的,因為她愛著一個為她變成人類的天使,因為一位為她變成人類的天使愛著她.在一生最美好的愛人的懷抱中逝去,也是幸福的吧...
