why we cannot see the sun surrounds us—it’s always there upon our heads.
I was touched even before watching this brilliant movie. When I got the DVD from my senior buddy, he said,
"It's perfect for gloomy or lonely souls who are waiting for a sunnier day or cannot see the sun which already surrounds them! It made me think of you....and me. You will know why when you watch it."
Eventually, I did appreciate the story particularly in a gloomy, showery afternoon; well, alone for sure, probably lonely as always.
Do so called 「mad people」 like Max who has Asperger really insane or silly than normal people?
Do we consciously understand our innermost expressions even though we never had a face collection hanging around our necks?
Do I have specific three goals clearly in my mind which make me feel more complete whenever I am getting closer to them?
Max is definitely not the only one who hates to be himself. Most of us are spending almost our entire lives to search and to desire to be anybody but ourselves. What if I accept this imperfect, vulnerable little me? As he said, 「I would have to accept myself, my warts and all, and that we don』t get to choose our warts. They are a part of us and we have to live with them.」
「Dr Bernard Hazelhof said if i was on a desert island then i would have to get used to my own company – just me and the coconuts. 「 Therefore, how fortunate we are since we can however choose our companions cross over the life span! Friends are the most fascinating scenery when we pave the way of life. 「Hopefully, one day our sidewalks will meet and we can share a can of condensed milk.」 Max was so contented and satisfactory when he sat there and looked up to the heaven with 瑪莉's company, wasn't he?
I am going to tell my beloved elder friend that:
Please love yourself first and so do I. No matter how melancholy or lonely the life is, we have to enjoy the life journey with our own accompany after all. However, I』d like to be a little red starry flower on your head which gives you inspirations and good mood. That’s why we cannot see the sun surrounds us—it’s always there upon our heads.
