Chapter 9-------sledge hug

Sledge picked the phone.

"X.O.wants a round on the farmhouse in sector 2.

one round,H.E.
Left 2-0.Add 50 and try again.
Target.Mark it concentration Baker for this sector."

S put down the phone with a cruelty in eyes.
The farmhouse destroyed.


S spot a woman with eyes looking down on her and slowly raised the gun on her head.
The woman lift rags painfully.
S lowered the gun.
The woman lift her frail right hand.
S got closed to the woman slowly.
But the woman caught the gun-barrel and lead it to her head.
She wanted a shot to end herself.
Sledge's finger moved to the trigger,then stop.He had a sigh and move away the gun.
He crouched to lay down the gun,then turn his body to the woman.
He hug her in himself with their eyes stare fixedly at themselves.
She died in his hug.

His guides of the precision bombardment caused the death of the woman and her family.
