and not when I had come to die,discover that I had not lived.

那是盧梭的詩句 是詩人們每次召開集會時必念的第一首詩

同樣印象深刻的還有MR.Keating在課上說的一段話

We don't read and write poetry because it's cute.　We read and write
poetry because we are members of the human race.　And the human
race is filled with passion.　And medicine, law, business, engineering,
these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life.　But poetry,
beauty，romance, love, these are what we stay alive for．

 

那一班少年 一個從小缺乏父母的關愛 生日禮物永遠是一套同樣的文具

一個從心底熱愛戲劇 父親卻逼迫他去軍校學醫

一個苦戀著心儀的女孩 而對手隨時會把他打死

……青春的徬徨無助 一切都那麽熟悉。

 

基廷老師要求他們撕掉教材的導言 因為他們要學會用自己的心去體會詩句 從不同的角度 說出自己的想法。

第二天他們一一到講臺上念自己的詩 todd anderson沒有寫 然而在基廷的引導下 句子即興呈現 大家發出善意的嘲笑 然而詩句越來越震懾人心 anderson再次睜開眼睛的時候 教室裡很靜很靜

他們組織古詩人詩社 半夜偷偷跑到學校後面的山洞裡 掏出口袋裡的餅乾 三明治 煙 有人一邊吹薩克斯風一邊念詩 有人抽菸斗 有人用莎士比亞的詩句哄女生開心

 

「這是誰的半邊三明治？」

「因為另一半我在吃」


 
他們跟老師一起踢球 他們開心得抬著老師在山坡上奔跑 夕陽橙色的光線穿過密林

 

再後來 Knox決意勇敢地追求他的女孩 他的誠意和堅持打動了她 他們終於在一起

那個無法獲得父親認同的男孩 他把自己演戲時戴的桂冠放在窗臺上 在一個雪夜吞槍自殺

不知道基廷先生最後是否留下來 不知道anderson是否常常惦記著那個曾經眼神鑒定 充滿熱情的室友

 


 以下是我的哭點

anderson得知室友自殺後 先是很平靜地笑著説 下雪了 不是嗎。然後一個人跌跌撞撞衝向雪地痛哭

89年的ethan hawke 那樣青澀單純的少年

 

在電影的結尾 一向孱弱猶豫的anderson在主任的課上 懇求基廷留下來 他説， O CAPTAIN! MY CAPTAIN!

然後他站在了桌上 現任老師呆住了 厲聲要求他下來 然後更多的男孩堅定地站到桌上

那一刻我明白 這世界應該屬於這些少年 他們至少學會了勇敢面對一切

就像光線穿過密林 我們應當永不屈服。
