O Nerd

一下子看完了三季的The Big Bang Theory，不能自拔。那種生活以及說話方式，無論是租房、辦公室、娛樂、學術笑話，英文的學術八股文體、以及博士、教授們的彼此看不起，對我來說，相當熟悉。畢竟剛剛出來的時候，是抱著做學術的夢想滴。

Dr. Sheldon 古柏’s 名言，充分體現出知識分子的清高。
Sheldon: Why are you crying?
Penny: Because I』m stupid!
Sheldon: That’s no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad.

人人都說他有毛病，他理直氣壯地說：I』m not insane, my mother had me tested!

以為自己的英語還不錯，看了此劇，不得不承認，如果木有字幕，大概只能聽懂30%！！！被此劇刺激，數點了一下我的客戶，你猜有多少個Ph.D and Ph.D candidate？剛剛好100個！！！我真滴真滴很佩服自己！！！

扮演Sheldon的演員Jim Parsons相當傳神，看了一些他的訪問，艱苦地背台詞，他說時時刻刻都在讀那些台詞，今年得了Emmy Award喜劇最佳男主角。他說他還演過許多角色……什麼都好，有些遺憾的是：Gay!

我上twitter follow了Sheldon古柏, JimParsons4SNL and MrJimParsons，寫了幾個字，竟然還有回覆！這三個帳號很可能都不是他本人， 可是收到回復我還是很開心。

我也相當Nerd！愛指出別人的錯，特別對香港同事的地理、歷史知識、英語語法……哎……一個夭折的Ph.D!
