可那時的Fiona沒有心軟，她反問Shrek：

where were you when I needed you？
那我需要你的時候你在哪？


這讓Shrek徹底無言以對。


此後他們為了族群並肩作戰，打敗魔法師。
Fiona吻了Shrek，他們解除了魔法師的合約。


回到現實的Shrek無比歡欣，他動情地對Fiona說：

You know what the best part of today was？
你知道今天最美好的部份是什麼嗎？
I got the chance to fall in love with you all over again.
我又重新愛上了你
You know,I always thought that I rescued you from the Dragon's keep.
