鬼是個啥東西？

我在Netflix上看的這個片子。讓我覺得搞笑的是，中西文化的差距由此可見一撇。看了一下獲高評的評論，好像美國人比較糾結劇情的問題，他們覺得看不懂，需要來回反覆回放才能把劇情搞懂。

這可能是由於西方人與東方人對於「鬼神」的理解是不同的。如果了解一些Asian的文化，看這個片子應該不存在困難。影片一開始的一幕就是在燒紙錢。那麼我們可以推知這部片子應該是講愛與死去的人的。但是如果不知道這個文化背景，那麼就需要關注故事情節的發展，導演還是給了一些Clue，像出謎題一樣幫助你了解故事的來龍去脈。

我懷疑如果看不懂這部片子的西方人，他們是否真的能看的懂《千與千尋》，或者《入殮師》這些奧斯卡獲獎作品。

不過，好在還是有人看懂了。
--Its a movie about love, loss and moving on, but done in a nicely subtle way.
--This beautifully-made film is a ghost story, with ghosts to be understood from the Chinese perspective. (The viewer is informed about what this means about 52 minutes into the film during Sophies video interview with 茱蒂, the internet artist.) I found myself having to watch the movie repeatedly--jumping forward and back through the scenes--to identify all the clues scattered throughout. (Notice the transformation in Sophies video about 19 minutes into the film). The movie is cerebral in the same sense as the movie Blowup is. Although I am not usually a fan of movies focusing on LGBT characters, I was nevertheless intrigued by this films focus on identity. Ai-Ling is wondering who her real father is. At minute 54 茱蒂 speculates in her video interview that maybe she is only the product of someones imagination. After Sophie discovers Mei-Lis lies (1 hr, 12 minutes into the film), she asks her, Who are you?, Mei-Li answers, I dont know what you are driving at....Who am I supposed to be then? This becomes clear when Mei-Li wakes up in while in bed with her boyfriend (1 hr, 18 minutes into the film). If you pay attention, this is a movie you will be thinking about long after it is over.

CONGRATULATIONS. YOU GET IT.
對於看的懂「鬼」的人來說，就不必滿頭霧水猜謎似地看了。可以拿杯咖啡慢慢鑑賞一下劇情啦，演員啦，鏡頭啦什麼的——哎，可惜這片子拍的……很一般。   舉報
