Unknown
The first half of the film is fantastically shot, and really caught me off guard in terms of its quality. Somewhere in the middle, Unknown takes a wrong turn and becomes all of a sudden mundane. Perhaps this is the line between knowing and not knowing, as the story depends on us not knowing what is happening to make it intriguing, once the facts begin to surface, it takes away all the intrigues it have. It's like setting up a beautiful dinner, only to find out that the food is not nearly as pleasing. Thinking this way, perhaps there is no chance that Unknown could ever be really good, but based purely on the first half, the film is still worth watching. On another note, January 瓊斯' acting is really awkward throughout, and that some plots just doesn't make that much sense at all. It's hard not to leave a little disappointed.
