O Captian, My Captain! LET ME YAWP! YAWP FOR ALL!

I was intended to complete all the homework that i have to hand in the next week, but after i watched the dead poets society, i think that may be i should just throw away all the homeworks, and SEIZE THE DAY!

Maybe nothing could express my feelings now, all the craziness and freedom and passion of poets just crammed in my head, evoking my "barbaric" desire to YAWP, yawping for all the craziness and passion that i left in the transient youth, all the freedom that i once thirsted for!!

Someone said that our generation is a generation without passion, vigor and youthful spirit. I couldn't agree more! When the society pinned wealth and status as the standard to examine whether one is successful, when all the adults, even teachers told us that if you don't be "successful", you'll never be happy in your entire life!! When all the Mr. Keatings are dispelled by desires of the whole society, who can stimulate the nice nature of yougsters!! All our youthful spirits, all the passions that are naturally entitled to youth are just being trifled in the cradle!!!

Nothing can I say more about this, let's just quote a poem which has partly appeared in this movie, to remember all the feelings this movie have granted us.

To the Virgins, to Make Much of the Time

Gather ye rosebuds while ye may,
  Old time is still a-flying;
And this same flower that smiles today
  Tomorrow will be dying.

The glorious lamp of heaven, the Sun,
  The higher he's a-getting,
The sooner will his race be run,
  And nearer he's to setting.

The age is best which is the first,
  When youth and blood are warmer;
But being spent, the worse, and worst
  Times still succeed the former.

Then be not coy, but use your time;
  And while ye may, go marry;
For having lost but once your prime,
  You may forever tarry.
