When the police finally came, finding the mom and son sitting there, weeping.
They probably interpret it as fear and shock, rather than what it really was, sadness.

I find the whole story extremely touching, in a beautiful way. Regardless of those negative reviews, which thankfully I hadn't read before hitting the cinema.

Who cares if he is an escapee or not?

The greens, the peach pie, the light, their house and car, the door and curtain. All scenes are well set and details subtly designed. Soundtrack also flows smoothly from the start to end.

I don't see why people fail to get the beauty of being touched and loved. There is nothing wrong about an unsecured wounded middle-age woman longing for love/sex, it's human nature after all. It's hunger that need to be satisfied.

Yes, sounds dramatic though, it's a most beautiful line I've heard lately, let me be an air-brained woman here.

You see clearly the difference what a real man can make in a family. We all need to strike a balance, and it's not simply about dependency, but inter-dependency.
