Not Extraordinary, Yet Worth the Time

    First of all, no need to call it shit any way, especially when you admit that you know little about sci-fi. You already have the loving computer plot from BLACK MIRROR, the programmed subtle surgeon table from ALIEN, the AI controlling the world concern from typical sci-fi works, what else do you expect?!
    Having seen the first ten minutes' story, I find my self able to tell the whole story with it's ending——the intelligent AI get out of control, started to harm people and finally get defeated by great human beings. But to be honest, one main plot surprised me in the following story——PINN turned out to be performing Will's true mind and did have no intention to harm human. All these actions to upgrade the world came out of love and good willing. At this point, this movie is not as narrow and conservative as I firstly thought.
    No overstatement, no unrealistic fantasy, this whole story was carried out normally, the actors deduced regularly, such is this movie itself, normal and regular, no radical thoughts nor old fashioned plots, just to show you ordinary things about this topic.
    But still, it has some bugs I found hard to explain: The process of uploading Will to the AI PINN was fuzzy and debatable, which led to the final discuss of whether AI Will was himself or not; The nanometre and quantum technology made magical things happen without the reasonable and scientific explanation or description; The virus applied to Will never showed its real face——I mean, is it biological virus or computer virus anyway? As a hard science fiction fan, I really care about these hidden plots= =!
    Actually, Johnny Depp was the reason why I decided to watch this movie. At this point I'm hardly satisfied. Neither the acting nor his share of appearance reached my expectation, so was the secondly beloved Morgan Freeman... Maybe the film itself didn't give free play to Depp, or it's just that he is getting old and paying less attention to acting——anyway, he has the charisma and reputation a movie star would ever want, in which case pursuing other things become no fault. The only thing to blame is that the producer used the actor who didn't try his best in this film in propaganda instead of applying all effort to improving the film itself.
