In memory of John Spencer.

With handel's godly 'Lascia ch'io pianga' on, I would keep a little while in silence in memory of John Spencer and such a great show he'd kept us company.
Still blow me away even the third time watching this political drama, not a single episode disappoint me throughout and the actors that really have my heart is martin sheen and john spencer.
I guess to script leo out might be there's real issue of his health(later he did pass away of heart attack and he is the best friend offscreen of martin sheen), but it's so nice to have him back for a while. Backward-stepped, still sharp on baker drop out cause the history close tie with arni and if arni decide to run for the president, no democrat could beat him then josh give a real thought of picking up the battle for his party and the later santos(I liked hoynes for being presidential). He's pondering on what they could influence in a better direction the government the every single day of the remaining year and tell jed to leave it all out on the field. He's so considerate for the president to put cj as his successor cause he knew josh is a supreme political brain and Win his ultimate goal and he himself may move on for what he is good at, the morally superior toby 's most happy when put in a room to draft constitution, introduce democracy to a dictatorship dominant country and debate on whether presidential or parliamentary procedure is a long-term goer but could sometimes trap himself soly on the ideaology ground and leave the white house's integrity under threat, only cj could be the right hand to be on top of everything meanwhile taking care of the MS president in many micro levels. Leo is an unforgettable, I cried on the scene of his funeral when almost every involved acting member is there to memorize him, I saw margret really sobs and I feel so sad the same way, it's really a shame to lose such a great actor not to mention he's still young(58).
I have been in love with the arni character since he's first rolled-in, brushing his own shoes while talking about the father that founded this country didn't found it on the basis of trust cause they know power corrupts that's why they put check and balance in and he so well done it when put to the question of whether the flag burning thing should be condemned, he is the bartlet of the opposite party, the wise and down to the earth devoted republican who fights for the soul of his party and spare no effort serving his country till the end of the day and the plan to run again after he lost even speak louder for what an adorable and respectable person he is. He makes me laugh at heart when he's the only candidate that speak the truth the moment on podium that ethanol is bad for economic and later joked it's suicidal, sincere as he is, he wouldn't do the same thing if it's primary cause everybody follows game rules. Santos holds high on campaign ethics and sticks to what he believes which make it hard between him and josh in the beginning but the stubborn congressman also could do a one minute ad that turn back tors. Yet hoynes' sudden drop out is not plausible except sorkin had to do so in order to let santos get the nomination cause lousy sex scandal kill is still more plausible than get stroke on the final debation table or santos inherit half of manhattan or become superman or whatever but i consider it's the weakest plot here. The debate episode makes arni outglow cause santos here in his best is acting, while alan alda must be a politics concerner he himself I real life to throw out such an outstanding performance and i personally adore actor like this. The nuclear plant valve accident makes arni fall of the cliff, it's another lottery supprise for santos cause the synopsis need democrate to be in the white house again even though arni win california at the end, alan alda is a democrate in reality.
When josh come to seek sam, i smiled at heart, this is the kind of moment you would all like.
