THE lesson

When was the last time I had such fun? Like when they were, say, running around on the street in headphones? Or not being able to resist dancing to a song? The answer is plain and simple: never. Because I have a rule book somewhere in my head confining my every move. The more I care about something, the more I obsess over its flawlessness.
Throughout the movie, they taught me THE lesson over and over again: if you can't be spontaneous, if you can't be laid-back from time to time to do whatever your heart wants, if you can't tolerate anything less than flawless, then you're never gonna have good times, you're never gonna have unforgettable experiences, which turn into memories that shine as bright as diamonds in your mind, for as long as you live.
And did you see how a guitar should be played? You improvise, you come in when it feels right, you let the music guide you. You don't play note by note according to some frigging scorebook that takes all the enjoyment out of playing. You be creative. You be happy.
