The Butterfly Effect——

Real genius.

As I was watching the rest of the movie, I took a minute to reflect on ourselves. We have all said so many regrets about the things we had already done, because we believe that things would turn out to be better, because we were blindly confident that we know how to get things going the way we want once we've had an experience of messing them up. It suddenly occurred to me that this is only too naive. All we know is simply how things would NOT work out, but we can't really be sure what WOULD.
Evan happened to share this naiveté. He struggled to fix things up using his inherited talent. However, all he had done was to desperately go further and further back. When he fails to fix one thing, he traces to the source and try to fix that one, and trace back and back.
But life is unpredictable. That's what life was supposed to be like isn't it? Evan tried to play God, but he could only regret and regret and start over and over till the very beginning -- his birth.

就好了」又會牽連出無窮無盡的「假如」,直到最後變成「it would be best if nothing had ever started in the very beginning"。
