the sun will come out

You'll feel so homesick that you'll want to die , and there's nothing you can do about it apart from endure it. But you will , and it won't kill you. And one day the sun will come out and you might not even note it straight away, it would be that faint. And then you will catch yourself thinking about something or someone who has no connection with the past, someone who's only yours. And you'll realize, that this is where your life is.

儘管回愛爾蘭後的情節設置很讓人不舒服，儘管有太過明顯的主旋律，儘管不盡同意一定能找到someone only yours，但還是給了本年第一部電影五星。
因為作為一個棲身大都市的小城姑娘的強烈共鳴，和看到Eilis第一次收到家書時感同身受的眼淚，還有她最後說的one day the sun will come out。
有些故鄉一旦離開就真的回不去了，而在另一些地方，心安之處皆可為家。
只是，從最初時的怯怯懦懦成長到從容恬然，你可知道走過了多少的路。
