Stupid?
There’s no doubt that this screenplay which was adapted by a true story so engaged the audience that no one left before the end, and the mental health of patients were in need of immediate help. But I also insist that to be a qualified doctor, the most elementary skill must be the medical skill, rather than just one smile or joke. The task of doctors has been so heavy, then the mental treat would better be carry out by professionals.Patch, the hero of this movie, almost didn』t need to bury himself into studying but to pay close attention to encouraging patients in trouble. As we all know, medical science is profound for most of us ordinary people. Patch would always get 98 high mark just rely on his universal love, rather than his hard working. So can I point out that this movie has misled its audience who has been already disaffected with their impatience doctor to even give up to be considerate of his hard working? To be honest, I approved the theme of leading the doctor-patient relationship to a more equal situation, but I opposed to this exaggerate way of expression.I trust that 「Patch」 in the real world just put more patient to his patience than his colleagues. What’s ridiculous, it’s said that Patch himself even accused the movie of vilifying him.
