《只是世界盡頭》是偉大的劇作家Jean-Luc Lagarce創作的無數印象深刻的作品中的其中一部，無論他現在身在何處，我希望我的這部作品都沒有讓他失望。通過這部優秀的戲劇作品，我努力嘗試去挖掘電影本身，給大家展現劇情的發展以及還原各色人物的情緒。這些人時而可惡，時而尖叫，卻總是深受傷害。他們活在我們當中，正如千千萬萬活在害怕、卑微和懷疑愛情中的母親和兄弟姐妹們。

碌碌一生人事繁雜，終究還是為了相愛。我，也是如此。我多麼希望能夠被人所愛和接受。巧妙地創造了這些角色，他們在加斯帕德·尤利爾，納塔莉·貝伊，蕾雅·賽杜，文森特·卡索和瑪麗昂·歌迪亞如此形象和完美的演繹下，也無法避免這個最基本的人生訴求。

越長大，我才越了解，被理解是多麼不容易；才知道，要看清自我，更是困難得令人難以置信。現在，我終於明白自己到底是誰。今晚，你們的見證、理解以及愛，讓我相信在未來的日子裡，能夠繼續創作與我們回聲的電影，仍帶著一顆向現實永不妥協、向粗製濫造永不低頭的決心。即使在各種情感里漫遊是一場時而迷失方向的冒險，但是這場冒險終會到岸。

兩年前我曾經站在這裡，當時我經歷了人生的轉折點，今天將是另一個改變我生命的重要時刻。然而戰鬥仍然繼續，我的一生都將貢獻給電影，無論它是否被人們接受和喜愛。正如法郎士所說的：與冷漠的睿智相比，我鍾愛熱情的瘋狂。

I hope I won』t have disappointed anyone. I tried to make a film of this to talk about a story and emotions to convey characters that are sometimes loud and nasty but who are in fact hurt. They live like us, like many mothers, brothers, sisters. They live in fear, lack of trust, lack of certainty. Everything we do in life, we do it to be loved. That’s what I do in the event, to be accepted.

My characters are like us, so human, beautifully played by Gaspard Ulliel, Nathalie Baye, Léa Seydoux, Vincent Cassel and Marion Cotillard.

The older I get, the more I realize it’s difficult to be understood, and strangely enough, I understand myself better now. I know who I am. Your testimony, your love encourages me to make films that resemble me, without any compromise solution, without giving in to what is easy. Even if the emotion is something that’s hard to convey to others, it always reaches its destination in the end.
