確實不夠帶勁了

作為《猜火車》的粉絲，我感覺自己有必要對《猜火車2》說上幾句。 第一句就是整體上沒有那麼帶勁了，四個中年男人，Spud 因為搞不清楚夏令時而失業，Sick Boy 靠和女友搞仙人跳來敲詐，Begbie 自殘越獄後帶兒子繼續偷雞摸狗，而我們的 Mark Renton 在二十年後回到愛丁堡，也不過是帶了一紙離婚協議，不得不回來找背叛過的朋友和故鄉，人設上就很難變得帶勁，而實際也是如此。此外，攝影上、原聲帶上也不那麼帶勁了，風景似乎美了不少，而 Underworld 的《Born Slippy》也變成了《Slow Slippy》，嘿，dirty numb angel boy 去哪 兒了？他們四個「盧瑟」大概也在想這個問題，可以說整部電影四個人都在回憶二十年前的故事，Spud 對 Renton 的評價就是，「You're the traveller of your own youth」，多少有些悲涼，而我作為觀眾，則失落的成份更多些。 第二句是「be addicted to something else」很有道理，這是 Renton 在 Spud 向他尋求戒毒方法時說的話，後來 Spud 就愛上了寫作，並把他們二十年前與如今的故事寫了下來，小說的語句還頗具有些詩意，尤其是寫第一部中死去的 Tommy 那段，我認為那就是首很好的詩，摘上幾句——「Tommy looks well. It's terrifying. He's gonna die. Sometime between the next few weeks and next fifteen years, Tommy will be no more. The chances are that I'll be exactly the same. The difference is we know this with Tommy. Tommy cannot get out. He cannot afford to heat his home, put himself in a bubble, live in the warm, eat good fresh food, keep his mind stimulated with new challenges. He will only live five or ten or fifteen years before he is crushed. Tommy will not survive winter in West Granton."（根據字幕，蘇格蘭方言改成了標準英語）。還有 Spud 所寫的「First, there's an opportunity. And then, there is a betrayal」也對兩部電影都進行了概括。 第三句是 Renton 的「Choose Life」段子沒有那麼酷了，在對 Veronika 說的時候，甚至帶著些炫耀、諂媚的口氣，當然也不是沒有悲涼，但一邊想著 Diane 一邊說「Choose looking up old flames, desperate to believe that you don't look as bad as they do」的時候，你有種別勾引 Veronika 啊。Renton 染上了一些中年男人的糟糕習性，這讓人很傷感。 第四句是，Diane 還是那麼可愛，口音還是那麼好聽，而這部的女主角 Veronika，她很聰明，也有主見，比那些盧瑟強多了。
