Bourne never dies, obviously!!

[THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM] once again proves that a story-driven, action-packed trilogy could be captivating from the very beginning to the end. This last part of the story has everything you would expect to see: CIA conspiracy and bureaucracy, intense fighting and car chasing sequences (as always), an almost superman-like Matt Damon, turns and twists that put you on the edge of your seat, beautiful foreign landscapes, 茱莉亞 Stiles and Joan Allen(Bravo ladies!)......
 
And of course, the truth about Jason Bourne.

If you are a serious BOURNE fan (when I say "serious", I mean having read the BOURNE books, watched the previous two BOURNE movies more than once, and has DVD collections at home, ok....seriously, that's not me), this one is the last piece of the puzzle you have to catch. Not only does the movie try to spice up the story as much as possible but also ties back perfectly to the ending of [THE BOURNE SUPERACY]. The storytelling flows smoothly yet making you hold your breath every 10 seconds. What is so interesting about it is that the audiences will never be forced to find out the truth. They are simply following Jason Bourne's footsteps one by one. The further Bourne moves forward, the closer he gets to his true identity. That's why I found the final ending neither surprising nor disappointing. Nothing really outrageous about it. It is just a matter of the fact, and it is convincing. It would certainly bring you the mixed feeling of relief, sadness, and rebirth. You would accept it as how Bourne was going to accept it. After all, we've been following his journey for such a long time.
 
Now something about Matt Damon. Needless to say, he should take most of the credits for playing this anti-hero hero. Without him, there will be no Jason Bourne (I can't even imagine someone else like Daniel Craig playing this character). Who would have thought that Bostonian math geek (a cute geek) from Good Will Hunting will one day become an invincible spy. In spite of his recently well-developed manliness, Damon also has a very special boyish charm that pulls women towards him. He is supposed to be a cold-blooded killing machine who plays with danger everywhere, yet women want to follow him, to protect him. As in the movie, from Franka Potente to 茱莉亞 Stiles to Joan Allen, the femle characters seem to be playing the roles of protectors on different levels. They may have been dragged into the situation at first, but turn out to be willing to get involved. Damon also shows a subtle transformation of Jason Bourne's character in his performance. He used to be a merciless killer who has no emotion attached whatsoever, now he hesitates when he's suppose to end someone's life. The audience can certainly see how the true Jason Bourne is coming back.
 
And of course, Jason Bourne never dies. Who are we kidding, guys!! Heros cannot afford to die, at least not in a million-dollar box office Hollywood movie .
