Mona 麗莎 Smile?

Some thoughts after the movie Mona 麗莎 Smile.
What are we looking for in life as a woman?
Can we be free even though we are wise enough? We go to college? We strive for our rights? Should there be a balance between tradition and new liberation or leave it all behind? The world is confusing us by telling us so many lies that blur our eyes and make us ridiculous.
The society advocates us to get to learn more knowledge, to be a wise woman yet it also push us into a trap when we have all got ready for a liberation.
In college, those girls are talents. They are amazing and incompatible. They know the whole history of art; they can recognize all those famous paintings with date, author, meaning and appreciation. They all have their own thoughts towards art, life, and the world. Yet the society blinds them when they just get graduated. They are pushed in and their thoughts been killed when they are just about to grow. We all cherish our university life for you can see thought inspiring, yet the fire never begin to burn and it is out.
 If they are just to be a babysitter, a housewife with chore everyday, not leaving anytime for themselves or a moment for some deep thoughts, why they need to be so excellent and smart and learned and then turn back into the commonest routine？ Washing clothes and doing cooking do not need to be learned in college.
 I am not saying housewife is not good or those who go to college are fools or saints. I respect every single role in this world. They all have their reasons. Yet I just want to point out, if the society want us to be ridiculous, just do not ask us to be wise. Schools should be places to inspire a person, yet is still cannot get rid of the controlling freak. People are to be set free here, yet it is still another cage. An intangible cage. It is the place that teaches us how to fly yet no not allow us to fly. Or it just conservatively teaches us part of the flying skills and when we really mean to fly, we break our bones half way away.
The world is contradicted, so are we.
Conflicts are everywhere because tradition and new thoughts are everywhere. What the true meaning of freedom is can not be explained or identified. It is in everybody's heart. People feel it and live it with different perspectives. Both talent and house wife can be free if she just get the right feeling.
Mona 麗莎 is smiling, but we can never see her inside. Is she happy? Only she knows the truth of hers.
