Stories of Two Women ------ 「Cleopatra 「 and 「 Marie Antoinette」

I watched two films in one week --- Cleopatra and Marie Atntoinette , and i bring them together now , for both of them are so beautiful , so special and so influential .
 
  Cleopatra was a succession of her father --- Egypt King`s crown , but had to govern Egypt with her youger brother . They couldnot get along well , then there was civil war , during this war , Cleopatra successfully charmed Caesar the Great and used him , killed her brother , got her power of being a Queen . But Romans donot like her , after Saesar died , they sent Gereral 安東尼 to get rid of her . The smart queen arranged a party in a super yachts , dressed herself up like a charming Venues , 安東尼 fell in love and became a captive of her love . Romans were angry , another army came to her , lead by Qctavian , nephew of The Caesar . Her charm did not work this time , and she choosed to die flowerily 「with the kiss of a viper 「 .

Marie Antoinette was also a very special woman , beatuiful and had political influence in history . her mother was the Queen of Austria, while her father was a Roman emperor. She was pure and naive by nature , but played as a chessman all her life , her husband Louis XVL was very dull and donot know love , so she indulged all her senses into delicious food beautiful clothes gorgeous show and kinds of fashion parties . But this finally bought her to the guillotine in French Revolution .

  Cleopatra is a very long movie , I never watched one movie with such patience and movement . she is beautiful , she is attative, and she is so wise to use all her charm to serve for her , finally she got her power and her love , and bought 22 year peace to Egypt at the same time .While Marie is not so active to choose her fate , she was choosen ---- a chessman , playing a role of peace ambassador for her country . She did not get her love , her power , either . all her care about was her cozy life , so after she was crowed as 「Queen of Deficit 」, her death sentenced by her people in the revolution was not suprising .

  When I watch the movies , what interests me is not merely their beauty and political position but also their love ---perhaps it is because i am female too ?

 Cleopatra got great support from Saesar and 安東尼 , she even fell in love with 安東尼 , one love that each could die for another . She was a queen , she knew her love is additional , she choosed to love the men who could bring her good and She won her power and brought long peace for her country , on this point , she was successful .

  Compared to Cleopatra , Marie Queen was much more unfortunate , she never had a chance to know what was love before she was sent to Frence , years later she has a clandestine love affair , but only lasted several days . when the revolution broke out , she could escape , but she choosed to stay with her husband and her children , she was unlucky , but she was brave , on this point , she still deseves our sympathy .


 Two beautiful women , two different eras , two distinct fates , compressed into 6 hour`s movie show , but the impression it gave would be long lasting .
