Something about Kevin Spacey
After watching several of his movies in a row, I have to write something about Kevin Spacey.
Getting one of his Gold Men in The Usual Suspects as Verbal Kint, Spacey has really proved why he deserves it. Known as the best candidate for acting anything creepy, Spacey carries the kind of mysterious and unstable charisma that is deadly intriguing. Even in the supposedly comedy The Men Who Stare At Goats, Spacey still delivers that impression. I'm not saying he's playing every role in the same way; actually the fact that he can play any role lively with his own signature peculiarity is simply fascinating.
A murderer in Seven, a loser in American Beauty, a sacrifiser in The Life of David Gale, a believer in The Negotiator...I would simply summarize that Spacey is a drama himself, and that makes him the reason why I am going on for more of his movies.
