How to be a teacher

有關一個邊緣人教著一群邊緣人的故事。

有很多理由可以愛這部電影：有關教育、引用愛倫坡、影帝級表演；只有一個理由可以不愛這部電影：整片的壓抑與邪惡的暴露。就好像那個自殺姑娘拍出的照片永遠那麼黑暗。

很奇怪Mr Bathes如此出色的一名老師怎麼會在最後一次和那個姑娘交談時沒有察覺她想要了卻生命。影片開頭那篇匿名作文，以及老師在說Today is my last day here.姑娘回了一句：So ironic. 就應該猜得出了啊。可惜了。總會有這麼一個天賦超群的孩子來不及拯救。好像Dead Poets Society裡面一樣。

本來想看這部電影學學怎麼和學生溝通，然後發現其實能學到的是要有self-control。But don't be detached from the world. 就好像最後Mr Bathes還是走出自己的故事，接納生活中新的人和事，在此之前，他的眼裡永遠充滿著憂鬱。

We are all the same. We all have pains. We all have chaos in our lives. How to save ourselves? Just like Mr Bathes said,"We must learn how to read to stimulate our own imagination, to cultivate our own consciousness and our own belief systems."

美國教育也有灰色地帶。We have such a responsibility to guide a young so that they don't end up falling apart.

教師真心不好當。責任重大。
