Schenley Park和fruit loop

整部電影充滿了匹茲堡的元素！還有很多潛台詞沒在匹村住過的肯定不知道，在匹村住過的人大多也還是不知道，於是覺得有必要在此暴一個料。
片中Patrick和他羞於出櫃的男友在食堂里打架那一段：
Patrick: Do you want your friends to know where you get those bruise?
bf: I got jumped in a parking lot.
Patrick: Where? In Schenley park? Do you guys know about Schenley park?
之後氣氛就緊張得不得了。
另外一幕Patrick帶Charlie去Mount 華盛頓上兜風，說I'm going to show you this fruit loop in Schenley park one day.

我看到這兩處大笑也大驚。沒想到導演/編劇竟然加入了這麼local的東西。
Schenley park是匹茲堡市中心的一個最大的公園，平常跑步啊打球的人很多。我男朋友住的地方就在里公園很近的地方，也經常去公園裡跑步。他發現在公園某處經常停著好幾輛車，一幫行徑可疑的男人聚集著。於是他懷疑是當地販毒的地方。其他幾個朋友可有類似的懷疑。某天我們要做一個城市經濟學課的項目，調查Schenley park附近的房價，大家覺得這個「販毒地點」可能會影響房價，於是上網查證也好寫報告。結果發現竟然不是販毒的地方，而是gay聚集性交的地方……學名叫做"fruit loop"：If anyone would make a trip to Prospect Drive on any sunny weekend day, you will find gay people sunbathing, picnicking, leaning against their cars, chatting with friends and acquaintances, walking their dogs and playing volleyball. 更多相關: http://www.post-gazette.com/stories/opinion/letters/letters-to-the-editor-82005-596531/#ixzz28GB68Fhj

可以想像我看到這樣一個東西在這部青春電影中被抖了出來是多麼驚訝。

另外他們兜風的隧道都是我熟悉的隧道，還可以清楚地看見隧道出口的路牌上寫著"to Strip District"等熟悉的地方。
